Frequently asked questions

Is my financial data safe?

Veru365 uses secure hosted authentication, keeps each organization's data strictly separated, and connects to banks through Plaid — your bank credentials are never seen or stored by Veru365. Organizations can additionally require identity verification before accounts are created, and you can file a data-erasure request at any time from Settings.

Does the AI give investment advice?

The assistants provide education, analysis, and planning projections grounded in your data. They don't place trades or replace your advisor's judgment — and the stock strategies are research tools, not recommendations. For decisions, the platform makes it easy to bring in your human advisor (Schedule an Appointment, handoff).

Why don't I see a tool this guide mentions?

Every tool is a per-organization feature toggle. If your Tools menu is missing something — Tax Organizer, Connected Accounts, AI Memory — your firm hasn't enabled it. Ask your advisor or organization admin.

Can my advisor see my conversations?

Within your firm's organization, yes — advisors and owners have compliance-review access to chats. That's a regulatory feature of advisory platforms. Different organizations never see each other's data, and you control document sharing per item.

What happens if I belong to two firms?

You choose an organization at sign-in, and everything — conversations, files, portfolios, linked accounts — is kept separate per organization. Settings → Organizations shows what you've shared with each, including firms you've left.

How current is the stock data?

Strategy results are refreshed on an automated schedule (EVS focuses on companies reporting within the next trading day), and portfolio prices reflect current market data. Each strategy page shows the recency of what you're viewing.

Can I use Veru365 on my phone?

Yes — the app is fully responsive, with a mobile navigation drawer for the tools and settings.

I got a new invite but already have an account — do I sign up again?

No. Open the invite link while signed in and Veru365 attaches the new membership to your existing account (or offers an account switch if the invite was addressed to a different email).

Power-user tips

  • Talk first, click second. Nearly every tool can be driven from chat — describing what you want is usually faster than finding the right page.
  • Upload, don't transcribe. Drop statements into the File Vault and let extraction pull the numbers instead of typing them.
  • Watch the completion meters. They tell you exactly what data the plan is missing.
  • Regenerate after big changes. New job, house, baby? Regenerate the plan and use Compare Versions to see the impact.
  • Use semantic search. Conversation search finds meaning, not just words — search “college savings” to find the chat where you discussed 529 plans.
  • Check the Company Snapshot before earnings. Profile, insider activity, and the EVS setup for a ticker, on one page.
