Getting Started
Veru365 is invite-based: you join through an advisory firm (an “organization”), or create an organization of your own. This chapter takes you from an invite to a working account.
How access works
Everything in Veru365 happens inside an organization — typically an advisory firm. Your organization determines which features you see, the branding of your app, and which AI assistants are available. There are three ways in:
- An email invitation — an admin invites your specific email address; you get a personal invite link.
- A shareable invite code — a firm-level code you enter on the welcome screen.
- Creating your own organization — after signing up, you can found a new organization and become its owner.
Create your account
- Go to the welcome page Open app.veru365.com. If you're not signed in you'll land on the Welcome screen.
- Enter your invite code Type the code your firm gave you (or follow your emailed invite link, which fills this in for you).
- Verify your identity if prompted Some organizations require identity verification before signup — see the next section.
- Sign up or log in Veru365 uses a secure hosted login. You can create a password-based account or use single sign-on, depending on what your firm has enabled.
- Complete onboarding After your first login you'll be routed to onboarding to confirm your organization membership (or create a new organization).
Identity verification (IDV)
Organizations that handle sensitive client data can require identity verification before you can finish signing up. When it's enabled, the welcome flow walks you through a short verification step after your invite code is accepted. If you skip it or it fails, onboarding will ask you to complete it before you can enter the app.
Join or create an organization
The Onboarding screen appears whenever you're signed in but don't yet belong to an organization. From here you can:
- Join with an invite — paste a shareable code or confirm a pending email invitation.
- Create an organization — name your firm and become its owner. Owners get the Admin Dashboard, branding controls, and user management covered in chapter 6.
Invitation types
| Type | How it arrives | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Email invitation | A personal link sent to your email address | Tied to your specific address. Handles both new accounts and existing ones; if you're logged into a different account than the invite was sent to, you'll be offered an account switch. |
| Shareable invite code | A code your firm distributes (on paper, in a newsletter, on a website) | Entered on the Welcome screen. Anyone with the code can sign up into that organization. |
Belonging to multiple organizations
You can be a member of more than one organization (for example, a client of one firm and the owner of your own). When you sign in with multiple memberships, the Select Organization screen asks which one to enter. Your conversations, files, portfolios, and connected-account data are kept separate per organization.
You can revisit what you've shared with each organization — including ones you've left — under Settings → Organizations, which lists your conversations, files, portfolios, and connected-account data per firm.
Finding your way around
Once you're in, the app has three main areas:
Home
Pick an AI assistant (Freddy, Harvey, or Anna) to start chatting. Your conversation history lives in the left sidebar with search.
Tools menu
From the chat sidebar, the Tools menu opens every financial tool: File Vault, Financial Statements, Create Financial Plan, Tax Organizer, Build My Stock Portfolio, My Personal Budget, What-If Scenarios, and Schedule an Appointment.
Settings
Your profile, AI Memory, Connected Accounts, security, and (for owners) organization administration. A “Back to Chat” link always returns you home.
Your profile & security
- Settings → User Profile — your name, contact details, and account basics.
- Settings → Security — session and security options for your account.
- Settings → AI Memory — review and manage what the assistant remembers about you across conversations (only visible if your organization has enabled it; see chapter 3).
- Privacy & data erasure — Veru365 supports formal erasure requests from Settings → Erasure Request if you want your personal data removed.
